Erect, slightly arching, slender clumps of narrow, stiff, variegated foliage. Showy, purplish-green flowers that turn golden in winter. Early Summer to Winter. Ht.1.5mt.(5.5ft.). Good continuing winter interest. Grow in full sun and moist, fertile soil. Good for damp borders and as architectural plant. Cut down overwintered stems in spring.
